25hours to Launch Maiden Italian HotelWill Speros • December 7, 2017
25hours Hotel Company has announced plans to launch its first Italian property in early 2020. The 25hours Firenze will be centrally located on Piazza San Paolino in Florence’s historic Old Town.
Milan-based Genius Loci Architettura and interior designer Paola Navone will collaborate on the design of the new project, drawing inspiration from the vision of paradise captured in Dante’s Divine Comedy. The firm will spearhead the transformation of three buildings into a singular volume that will comprise the hotel across 115,700 square feet. The 173-room property will top one structure, a former bank building from 1800, with a covered patio to be occupied by an Italian restaurant. A café will be installed on the ground floor opening to the piazza, along with an elegant bar.
