Hospitality Design (HD) magazine is now accepting project and product entries for the 16th annual HD Awards. The deadline for entries has been extended to Wednesday, April 1st, 2020.
Both project and product entries must have debuted between December 1st, 2018 and March 1st, 2020.
The projects portion spans 25 categories, including Visual Identity, Hybrid Spaces, Camps + Lodges, and Event Spaces. In addition, the HD editorial team will select a Designer and Hotelier of the Year, who will be celebrated during the June ceremony. Innovative products are recognized in 12 categories, including Custom Art + Accessories and Technology, among others.
Winners and finalists for both projects and products will be selected by an esteemed jury of industry professionals.

Along with the annual Projects and Products Awards, HD is once again partnering with West Elm on the HD/West Elm Student Product Design Competition. The competition is offered for current students and those who have been out of school for up to a year. This year, the competition is focused on designing a family of highly functional tables. The winning designer will receive a $5,000 prize and have their product produced by West Elm.

All winners and finalists will be featured in the October 2020 issue of Hospitality Design magazine and honored at an event in New York in October at Cipriani 25 Broadway. Purchase tickets now.
Entry fees are $210Â for the first entry, and $120 for each additional category or entry you submit (entries in the Student categories are $40).
The 15th annual HD Awards received nearly 800 project entries and almost 350 product entries. The 2019 project winners and finalists were selected by jury members Ave Bradley, creative director and global senior vice president of design, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants; Alexandra Champalimaud, founder, Champalimaud; Jim Merkel, CEO, Rockbridge; Glenn Pushelberg and George Yabu, founding partners, Yabu Pushelberg; and Brad Wilson, president, Ace Hotel Group. Product winners and finalists were chosen by Gray Shealy, associate vice president of architectural design and innovation, Royal Caribbean Cruises; Miriam Torres, cofounder, Parker-Torres Design; Therese Virserius, founder, Virserius Studio.
