Amsterdam
Generator Amsterdam opened in spring 2016 in the upcoming Amsterdam East. Our location, bordering Oosterpark, one of Amsterdam’s largest parks, gives the property a resort feel. There is a flock of green parrots living in the trees of the park, having escaped from the Amsterdam zoo some time in the past. The building is an old medical institute, the University of Amsterdam’s former health sciences and zoological department. In addition to a colorful café and auditorium bar, we recently opened Oosterbar, which has quickly established itself on the thriving Amsterdam nightlife scene.

Rome
Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither was our Generator. With this property on the Generator map, we now have two Italian locations—Rome and Venice, where we have our fabulous jewel, located on the island of Giudecca.

Stockholm
Being Swedish, Generator Stockholm is close to my heart. The city has become a global hub for the digital and creative industries, ever stylish, sophisticated, and with a rich history. We border Norra Bantorget and are near Stockholm’s Central Station as well as Drottninggatan, a thriving pedestrian thoroughfare lined with shops, galleries, and world-class restaurants. We recently opened an edgy new bar and restaurant, Hilma, inspired by the 19th-century Swedish painter Hilma af Klint. The restaurant’s eclectic interior features elements of her brilliant use of color, as well as a number of surprising details and features, including a walk-in safe converted into a working tattoo parlor and a large cage, operating as a unique social space.

Paris
Paris is eternally on everyone’s bucket list. [Rooms] tend to be very expensive and somewhat traditional. Generator Paris offers a fresh experience-led approach, with affordable and highly accessible rates for shared and private accommodations. Our location in the trendy 10th arrondissement is where it’s all starting to happen, steps away from Canal Saint-Martin with an explosion of cool shops, galleries, cafés, restaurants, and bars. The views from our rooftop terrace are breathtaking and soon we will be launching a terrace bar for the Parisians to enjoy.

Miami
We can’t wait to launch on Collins Avenue in South Beach [set to open later this year].
