The Islamorada Resort Company, comprised of Amara Cay Resort, Postcard Inn Beach Resort at Holiday Isle, Pelican Cove Resort & Marina, and La Siesta Resort & Marina, has partnered with the Coral Restoration Foundation (CRF) to raise funds for the organization.
The nonprofit conservation organization is dedicated to creating offshore nurseries and restoration programs for threatened coral species. Islamorada Resort Company will help raise funds for CRF through guest donations and a matching fund.
“With our recent entry into Islamorada, we wanted to find a way to give back to the local community,” says Patrick Goddard, president and COO of Trust Hospitality, the owners of the Islamorada Resort Company. “We whole-heartedly support the cause and are thrilled to be partnering with the [CRF] to not only raise money for the foundation but to also raise awareness of the need for restoring our threatened coral species, as this is such a key element to what makes Islamorada such a sought-after and unique destination.”
The partnership, which will begin March 1st and run through April 1st, will consist of an optional $1 guest donation for each roomnight booked at Amara Cay Resort, Postcard Inn Beach Resort at Holiday Isle, Pelican Cove Resort & Marina, and La Siesta Resort. In addition, Islamorada Resort Company will match guest donations.
