Pearls, gemstones, and jewels shine in the recently debuted Beauty & Essex Las Vegas. Designed by Rockwell Group, the 10,000-square-foot Tao Group restaurant and bar at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas features touches ranging from vintage jewelry boxes to antique and heirloom items.
A light yet ornate entryway balances the restaurant’s signature pawn shop-inspired atmosphere, curated by Lauren Kaminsky Gold. The 230-seat main dining room is detailed with jewels, lockets, and other heirlooms, and chandeliers made from thousands of strung pearls that descend down the walls in the Pearl Lounge toward tufted purple banquettes.
The venue’s Mirror bar is equipped with a golden DJ booth, while an expansive 40-foot screen wall of framed vintage lockets stretches through a corridor that leads guests into the three opulent dining rooms featuring custom finishes and metallic and jewel tones.
