London-based hospitality brand Hakkasan Group will expand its restaurant portfolio with the launch of its ocean-to-table concept Herringbone restaurant in Waikiki, Hawaii and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Although New York-based Rockwell Group will only design the Cabo San Lucas eatery, both restaurants will maximize the relaxed indoor-outdoor aesthetic.
The Waikiki location will open in the newly revamped 360,000-square-foot International Market Place and will feature an open-air design. The Cabo San Lucas eatery will be one of several brands arriving in Mexico as part of Hakkasan’s growing partnership with Mexico-based resort and tourism operator Grupo Vidanta. In addition to the recently opened Las Vegas property, locations are expected to debut in La Jolla and Santa Monica, California.
Hakkasan Group currently operates more than 50 properties worldwide.
