Located underground in the former circa-1912 Isis Theatre, Conservatory—the city’s first curated food hall and beer garden—has arrived in Downtown Houston. Developed by business partners Anh Mai and Lian Nguyen, the chef-driven concept is housed beneath the Prohibition Supperclub & Bar, and seats up to 250 guests.
The 7,500-square-foot space shows off a raw and industrial aesthetic, complete with exposed piping and fixtures. Reminiscent of a greenhouse, the entryway greets visitors with a wall of living plants and a grand staircase leading down to the beer garden.
Conservatory’s wide array of locally sourced cuisine is provided by Houston-based vendors.
