Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio will debut in Latin America with two Argentinian properties. The Arelauquen Lodge and Auberge du Vin in wine country are both slated to join the collection in December.
Arelauquen Lodge.
Situated in Patagonia’s San Carlos de Bariloche near the serene Lake Nahuel Huapi and the Nahuel Huapi National Park, the Arelauquen Lodge is part of the Arelauquen Golf and Country Club. The 28-room property sits on a nature reserve spanning nearly 1,360 acres, and guests have access to the club’s 18-hole golf course, two polo fields, equestrian center, tennis and squash courts, trekking trails, and yacht club.
Auberge du Vin.
The Auberge du Vin is located in the Uco Valley of Argentina’s wine country nearly 4,600 feet above sea level. The modern retreat is part of the Tupungato Winelands, a private country club development in the foothills of the Andes. Guests of the 29-room resort can enjoy the Tupungato golf course, polo fields, meeting venues, and fitness center. The hotel’s indoor and outdoor pools overlook the mountains, while Epic restaurant features regional ingredients and wines from the vineyard.
