Rosewood Hong Kong is slated to open in 2018, marking the brand’s debut in the city. Located on the Victoria Harbor waterfront at the former New World Centre, the hotel, occupying 27 floors of a mixed-use tower from New World Development Company, will feature interior design and architecture from New York-based firms Tony Chi and Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, respectively.
The 398-room hotel’s architectural elements will reference the vibrant, contemporary surroundings, while interiors, including the property’s open public spaces, nod to an elegant estate. Rosewood Residences, 199 luxury accommodations housed on the tower’s top 19 floors, will feature a dedicated lounge, an indoor swimming pool, and fitness center. Some residences will include outdoor terraces.
Eight dining concepts will be offered in addition to a fitness center, swimming pool, the Manor Club executive lounge, and Rosewood’s signature wellness concept and residential-style meeting and event space, the Pavilion.
