The Ritz-Carlton, Denver kicks off renovations this week for its lobby as well as its meeting and event spaces, which comprise more than 13,000 square feet on the property’s Plaza level. Slated for completion in March, the upgrades will be provided by Palm Beach, Florida-based Bilkey Llinas Design (BLD).
The redesign will capture Denver’s adventurous spirit and draw upon its contemporary architecture through a combination of clean urban details and nature imagery. A color palette of neutral champagne and silver tones will be enhanced by deep blue, purple, gold, and white hues.
The reimagined lobby will house a new lounge complete with a cozy seating area ripe with local artwork. Lighting and upholstery will also be updated, complementing striking wallcoverings, modern furniture, and Colorado-inspired décor. The Plaza level—home to two expansive ballrooms, six meeting rooms, pre-function corridors, and an iconic grand staircase—will receive a makeover with local artwork, contemporary light fixtures, refreshed wallcoverings, vibrant upholstery, and new furniture.
