The Belvedere, the onsite restaurant at the Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel, has debuted its new outdoor terrace as part of the eatery’s full interior renovation. The lush space, designed in partnership with San Francisco-based firm EDG, offers al fresco dining framed by richly landscaped treillage. Doubling in size to accommodate greenery, the terrace also features French limestone fountains and an outdoor fireplace, while shrubbery is adorned with glittering lanterns to maintain liveliness night or day.
French doors and windows lead out into the space, reminiscent of European courtyards, and classic hammer-finished banquettes and tables are fixed around a striking 30-foot-tall Italian Cypress tree, the terrace’s centerpiece.
