The Gettys Group has completed the first phase of its multimillion-dollar renovation at the Bay Harbor Hotel in Tampa, Florida. The Chicago-based firm has unveiled 15 new guestrooms featuring hardwood floors, custom contemporary furnishings, frameless glass-enclosed walk-in showers, and backlit LED mirrors.
The reimagined lobby evokes a sense of tranquility and openness with the addition of luxurious but laidback finishes and furnishings. The revamped space boasts Italian tile, coastal-inspired lounge furniture, nautical accents, and ample room for lounging and meeting.
The indoor-outdoor Beach Bar | Restaurant has debuted following the overhaul of the previous onsite eatery Hogan’s Beach. An island theme flourishes with calming tones reminiscent of Key West juxtaposed with sophisticated urban touches.
Exterior improvements have been made as well, with the arrival of lounge seating areas around fireplaces and new poolside furniture and cabanas. New hardscapes and cable rail balconies have been installed as well. All meeting and event spaces enjoy new fixtures, furniture, and carpeting that honor the coastal theme.
