Sbe has launched the SLS Brickell, its second SLS property in Miami and its first hotel and residence project done in partnership with development company Related Group.
New York-based firm Arquitectonica designed the 55-story tower, which takes its cue from the lively Brickell neighborhood with a faceted bas relief pattern that blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces. The project also includes 124-Philippe Starck-appointed guestrooms and suites, and 450 SLS-branded condo residences. In addition, the art-infused property showcases an array of work including a mural by Markus Linnenbrink and a lobby sculpture by Bernardi Roig.
Chefs José Andrés and Michael Schwartz have spearheaded two onsite dining options. Schwartz will introduce his first Italian concept Fi’lia, while Andrés will offer seafood fare at his restaurant Bazaar Mar—his second eatery in Miami and his sixth project with sbe. Andrés will also oversee the cuisines featured in-room as well as at the mezzanine and pool bar, which is located atop the property at the SLS Brickell’s Sky Roof, which includes eight private cabanas.
With access to the nearby Miami Design District and downtown, the SLS Brickell also offers a slew of onsite amenities including a fitness center and private screening room.
