Rosewood Hotels & Resorts will launch its fifth Mexican property, the Rosewood Mandarina, in the Riviera Nayarit region in 2019. Comprising 130 guestrooms, suites, and villas, the resort will feature a design inspired by water elements that highlights the diverse environments of the beach, lowlands, and highlands. Local Huichol and Cora cultures will also be reflected in the design, which will merge modern luxury with the locale’s cultural riches.
The resort will be home to three restaurants and bars, including a specialty dining room and sunset bar, pool grill, and beach bar. Three pools, a fitness center, 10-room spa, and event space will also be located onsite.
The Rosewood Mandarina will join the brand’s Mexican and Central American portfolio that includes the Rosewood Mayakoba, Rosewood San Miguel de Allende, Las Ventanas al Paraíso, and Rosewood Puebla, which is slated to debut in 2017.
