Pacifica Hotels, owner and operator of independent hotels on the Pacific Coast, has taken over management operations for historic Santa Monica, California hotel the Georgian. Overlooking the Santa Monica Pier and Palisades Park, the hotel has served as Art Deco oasis for Hollywood royalty and the international elite since 1933.
Housing 84 classically appointed guestrooms and suites, the Georgian is home to full-service restaurant, the Veranda, which overlooks Ocean Avenue and the sea from its porch. In addition, the hotel accommodates private meeting and event space for groups of up to 40 people. The hotel is currently undergoing a property refresh including upgrades to the restaurant, bar, common areas, and meeting rooms, set to be unveiled in Spring 2017.
The Georgian is the latest in a series of third-party management additions for Pacifica Hotels, joining California properties including the La Jolla Cove Suites and the Inn at the Pier in Pismo Beach, which is set to open this summer.
