The Omni Providence Hotel, Rhode Island’s largest lodging venue, has completed a $15 million renovation of its West tower. Atlanta-based C+CT Design Studio infused the spaces with a New England aesthetic, including a palette of scarlet, crimson, deep chocolate, and champagne tones for a contemporary edge.
Guestrooms have been enhanced with custom artwork inspired by the city’s waterfront and landmarks, vinyl wallcoverings, plush seating, modern lighting, and geometric carpets. Bathrooms are outfitted with new vanities, illuminated mirrors, and wallcoverings, as well as new finishes and materials.
Corridor carpeting recalls the state tree, the red maple, with gold tones accenting the darker color scheme. Previously updated public spaces include the open lobby and meeting spaces, which enjoy new carpeting and furnishings. Onsite coffee shop Morsel’s has also been revamped with comfortable bar and table seating, while the hotel’s indoor pool now features lightweight wicker furniture and a chilewich basket weave deck.
