Nobu Hotel Miami Beach is celebrating its soft opening at Eden Roc Miami Beach, with its official launch planned for January 2017. The hotel arrives following a multimillion-dollar overhaul and restoration of the 1950s Morris Lapidus design.
The beachfront property offers views of the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay and features a design crafted from David Rockwell of New York’s Rockwell Group. While embracing laidback luxury, the contemporary aesthetic draws on natural forms and layers of materials including walnut, bronze, washi paper, linen, and leather. Art collector Peter Brant of Greenwich, Connecticut’s Brant Foundation Art Study Center has curated the hotel’s own collection, showcasing pieces from the likes of Julian Schnabel and Enoc Perez.
A series of luxury suites and 70,000 square feet of event space is housed onsite in addition F&B concepts like the indoor-outdoor Nobu Restaurant and Bar and Malibu Farm—both of which feature cuisine by Nobu’s lauded culinary team. Other amenities include an exclusive private pool, a signature spa, and an indoor-outdoor fitness center.
Nobu Hotel Miami Beach joins outposts in Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace and in Manila’s City of Dreams.
