Kimpton will double its Los Angeles footprint with the arrival of the Everly and La Peer hotels, opening this spring.
The Everly
Slated to open in late April, the 216-room Everly will feature relaxed communal spaces and chic designs from Ave Bradley, the global senior vice president of design and creative director for Kimpton. A 28-foot-tall lobby and a 12-seat bar, which will function as the nucleus of the property, will greet guests, while the adjacent library offers a quiet respite. A street-level café will appeal to visitors and locals, with the fifth-floor pool acting as a retreat. Celebrating a laidback California attitude, the hotel will offer panoramic views of downtown LA as well as the Pacific Coast from its location at the base of the Hollywood Hills. A fitness center, spa treatments, and meeting and event spaces will also be included.
La Peer Hotel
La Peer, the first hotel to arrive in the city’s Design District, will open its doors in May. The property captures the coolness of West Hollywood with a design influenced by the character of the neighborhood crafted by local firm Gulla Jonsdottir Architecture and Design. In addition to 105 guestrooms, La Peer will house 8,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor dining and lounge spaces, a rooftop event space, and poolside fitness center. The onsite pool will be accented with lush landscaping and handcrafted suspended lanterns. A new restaurant concept from chef Casey Lane will be featured as well.
