2016 has seen Hilton expanding its Hawaiian presence from six properties on three islands to 11 on four islands. As part of its effort to nearly double its regional portfolio, the company recently introduced four new outposts across three brands: the Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay, Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach, Grand Naniloa, a DoubleTree Hotel, and Hampton Inn and Suites Kapolei. The new hotels represent a 40 percent portfolio growth in the region.
