The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale has selected Bethesda, Maryland-based Streetsense to complete its $8 million renovation.
In addition to a new restaurant and retail outlets, the Florida property will see a complete refresh of its lobby and spa.
A newly constructed, to-be-named restaurant and bar will feature a modern ambiance inspired by Prohibition-era Florida with an indoor-outdoor bar featuring views of the Atlantic Ocean. A casual marketplace café and bistro will also be incorporated.
The revamped lobby will act as an interactive entertainment area featuring media walls, tabletop games, and secluded relaxation areas. New retail outlets, including Island Company, will highlight the space.
A hair salon, steam room, and sauna will be added to the hotel spa.
The hotel will remain open during the renovation process, beginning this summer and scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter.
