The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, operator of Mohegan Sun properties, along with partners Miura Holdings Asia, KCC Corporation, and Incheon International Airport Corp have been awarded a license by the Korean government to develop and build an integrated resort at Incheon International Airport in Korea. The Inspire project will be completed in multiple phases, and is estimated to cost a total of $5 billion.
Features include a three tower luxury hotel complex with 1,350 guestrooms; more than 215,000 square feet of luxury retail space; 20 F&B concepts; a 48,000-square-foot Korean cosmetics and beauty hub; the largest entertainment arena in South Korea with the capacity for 15,000 guests; a Paramount Studios-themed indoor-outdoor amusement park with more than a million square feet of high-tech rides; a 355,000-square-foot eco-adventure park featuring rock climbing, ziplining, an indoor rainforest, and an archaeology experience; a 215,000-square-foot casino with 250 tables and 1,500 slot machines; and an adjacent private air terminal.
