Marriott International has added three recently opened U.S. locations to its Autograph Collection Hotels portfolio.
Launched in 2010, Autograph Collection is Marriott’s fastest growing brand. The new additions— the Envoy in Boston; the Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook in Birmingham, Alabama; and the Citizen in Sacramento, California—have increased its number to 93 hotels.
The 136-room Envoy is located in Boston’s Innovation District and features artisan-style décor, reclaimed wood elements, and floor-to-ceiling windows in guestrooms. Amenities include a collaborative work area, the 4,000-square-foot Lookout Rooftop Bar, and the Outlook Kitchen restaurant.
The 100-room Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook is an artfully inspired boutique property centered on Grand Bohemian Art Gallery. Located onsite, the space features internationally curated artworks, exhibitions, and art receptions. Guests may attend sommelier-led educational sessions and cooking classes at the hotel’s Kessler Cooking School. Additional amenities include the signature Poseidon Spa, a rooftop restaurant and terrace, and more than 12,630 square feet of event space.
The Citizen hotel was repurposed from downtown Sacramento’s landmark California Life Insurance Building—the city’s skyscraper when it was built in 1925. Interiors pay homage to this history and feature uniquely configured guestrooms. Amenities include Grange Restaurant and Bar and 9,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 3,000-square-foot tented rooftop deck.
