The Graton Resort & Casino, an $800 million casino and entertainment facility in Sonoma County, California, is expanding with a 200 guestroom resort that features a spa, meeting and convention space, and an outdoor pool. Designed by Las Vegas-based Friedmutter Group, and built by the Los Vegas-based contractor Penta Building Group, the $175 million expansion, expected to debut this fall, will occupy a 342,000-square-foot, 8-story building connected to the existing casino.Â
Guestrooms and suites range in size from 500 to 2,600 square feet. The resort features an opulent lobby and bar, and 20,000 square feet of flexible event and convention space, as well as pre-function rooms and smaller meeting areas. The center of the resort is the outdoor pool, which is an extension of the hotel lobby.
The Graton Resort & Casino is owned by the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria and is managed by Station Casinos. It features 130-plus table games; 3,000 slot and video poker games; live poker; an 8,700-square-foot events center for concerts and special events; and a dozen restaurants and bars.
