Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, in partnership with Alcion Ventures and Bald Mountain Development, announced plans to open a resort in Calistoga, a city in northern Napa Valley. Slated to open in early 2018, the resort features 85 guestrooms, 20 private residences, and is located on an operational winery and vineyard run by winemaker Thomas Brown.
“This is a unique opportunity to combine a privately owned and operated winery and vineyard with a world-class luxury resort,” says J. Allen Smith, president and CEO of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Blending indoor and outdoor living, the resort features an event barn, 12 meeting and event spaces, three F&B offerings, multiple pools, a fitness center, and a spa showcasing natural geothermal waters exclusive to Calistoga. The private residences consist of one and two story villas featuring master suites, an owner’s wine cellar, and indoor-outdoor dining and entertainment spaces.
