Wind Creek Hospitality (WCH)—owned by the Poarch Band of Creek Indians—is renovating Alabama’s Creek Casino Montgomery, which will be rebranded as Wind Creek Casino & Hotel Montgomery.
The $65 million project will include an expanded gaming floor and the addition of the speakeasy-inspired BB King’s Blues Club, both of which will debut next month; as well as a hotel component to be completed by the end of December.
The five-story hotel will contain 123 rooms including eight suites, an events center, and a full-service salon. Along with BB King’s Blues Club and Lucille’s fast-casual eatery, which opened last January, Beale Street Blues Company will manage the hotel’s 195-seat Itta Bena restaurant.
