The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City has plans to invest more than $50 million in improvements over the course of the year.
Developing projects include Premier Nightclub, a new 18,000-square-foot nightlife space designed by New York-based Josh Held Design that will debut this spring; a fine dining restaurant from chef Michael Symon, which will join other Borgata restaurants by Wolfgang Puck, Bobby Flay and Geoffrey Zakarian; 25,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, including a 7,000-square-foot ballroom; and a 3,200-square-foot Roman style outdoor swimming pool. Borgata has also partnered with Siganos Management to transform the Cafeteria food court into a new casual dining eatery reminiscent of a European bazaar.
Included in the property’s $12.5 million maintenance capital are funds to refresh both B Bar and Boot N’ Whip Racebook bar, along with several dining outlets, as well as $2.5 million dedicated to original and exclusive slot product.
