The Trump Organization has brought on Eric Danziger as CEO of its hotel management company, the Trump Hotel Collection.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled and honored to be joining the Trump family as the CEO of Trump Hotel Collection,” says Danziger. “Having started as a bellman at a luxury hotel 44 years ago, being named as CEO of Trump Hotel Collection today is the stuff of fairy tales—and of the American Dream.”
With more than 45 years of industry experience, Danziger will lead the 14-hotel portfolio’s global operations, brand strategy, and growth.
“Trump Hotel Collection has been an amazing success, and we are very pleased to welcome Eric to the company,” says Donald J. Trump, chairman and president of the Trump Organization. “Eric will play a vital role in our continued expansion and the future of Trump Hotels.”
Prior to joining the Trump Organization, Danziger was most recently president and CEO of Hampshire Hotels Management, where he founded lifestyle collection the Début Hotel Group. He also served as president and CEO of Wyndham Worldwide from 2008 to 2014, president and CEO of Starwood Hotels from 1996 to 1998, and president and COO of Carlson Hotels Worldwide from 1998 to 2001.
