Plans for Pivot, a new lifestyle brand from Davidson Hotels & Resorts, were unveiled at the Americas Lodging and Investment Summit (ALIS) this week. Thus far, Pivot includes six properties either open or under development, with portfolio additions planned for Miami, Chicago, Nashville, the Florida Keys, and Eugene, Oregon.
The inaugural Pivot property is Hotel Zephyr, which debuted last summer in San Francisco following a multimillion-dollar renovation. Located at Pier 39 in Fisherman’s Wharf, the 361-room hotel features a maritime-inspired design, and utilizes unexpected materials such as shipping containers, corrugated metal, and recycled consumer products.
Pivot joins Davidson’s portfolio of 39 upper-upscale and near-luxury hotels.
