AccorHotels will launch a new lifestyle division next month, comprising the Jo&Joe youth hostel concept, Mama Shelter, and 25hour Hotels. Cédric Gobilliard will oversee the division and the deployment of new lifestyle concepts; he will report to chairman and CEO Sébastien Bazin.
“Increasingly, travelers appreciate unique brands with strong personalities that are both working environments for urban nomads and places to meet people and enjoy interesting experiences,” says Bazin. “AccorHotels is therefore expanding its offer in the lifestyle segment, which is one of the sector’s most dynamic.”
Gobilliard joined AccorHotels in 2009 following a decade as CEO of North America for Club Med. Since joining the company, he has contributed to boosting the brand’s online presence, global sales in France, and operations for the Novotel and Mercure brands in the French provinces. He has most recently worked in managing relations with Mama Shelter.
