Hospitality, real estate, and media leaders will converge June 5-7th at the Marriott Marquis in New York for the 38th Annual NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference. Hosted by the NYU School of Professional Studies (NYU-SCPS) Tisch Center for Hospitality and Tourism, the three-day event will feature workshops, general sessions, and networking opportunities.
Notable sessions include the panel “The CEOs Check In: A View from the Top,” taking place on June 6th. Moderated by NYU-SCPS associate dean and clinical associate professor Kristin Lamoureux, the panel will feature industry insights from Choice Hotels president and CEO Stephen P. Joyce; Hilton president and CEO Christopher J. Nassetta; IHG CEO Richard Solomons; and Marriott president and CEO Arne Sorenson. A second session of “The CEOs Check In” will take place the following day, with Christophe Alaux, AccorHotels’ CEO of HotelServices for North America, Central America, and the Caribbean; Carlson Hospitality Group CEO David P. Berg; chairman and CEO of Ferguson Partners Bill J. Ferguson; Hyatt president and CEO Mark S. Hoplamazian; Starwood president of global development Simon M. Turner. Global travel, hospitality, and leisure sector leader for Deloitte & Touche Adam F. Weissenberg will moderate.
June 7th will also include “The Leaders’ Forum,” which will include Wyndham Hotel Group president and CEO Geoff A. Ballotti; Hilton executive vice president and CFO Kevin J. Jacobs; Best Western president and CEO David Kong; IHG’s CEO of the Americas, Elie Maalouf; and Four Seasons president and CEO J. Allen Smith. PwC principal Scott D. Berman will moderate.
Additionally, anchor and global market editor for FOX Business Maria Bartiromo will interview Jonathan Gray, global head of real estate for Blackstone, on June 6th; and conference chair Jonathan M. Tisch, chairman of Loews Hotels and co-chairman of the board and office of the president of Loews Corporation, will discuss the presidential election the following day with Jonathan Karl, chief White House correspondent for ABC News.
