Hospitality Design (HD) magazine is bringing HD Conversations, an informal series of interactive discussions held at HD Expo, to Art Basel Miami Beach next month.
To be held Thursday, December 3rd from 6 to 9 p.m. at the newly opened Aloft South Beach, the HD Conversations: Art in Hospitality panel will be led by HD magazine’s editor in chief Stacy Shoemaker Rauen. She will be joined by Julie Frank, global director of design for Le Méridien Hotels; Jesse MacDougall, director of strategy and brand development for ICRAVE; Teddy Mayer, vice president of design for Virgin Hotels; and Lauren Rottet, founder of Rottet Studio, to discuss the important role art plays in crafting hospitality spaces.
“With our HD editorial advisory board newly in place, HD Expo registration in full swing, and our inaugural Art Basel event taking place next month in Miami, we are thrilled at the tremendous growth our brand is creating as we continue to expand our presence in various key markets,” says Shoemaker Rauen.
Guests of the Art Basel co-located event will also enjoy live music, cocktails, and culinary offerings from restaurateur Stephen Starr’s new Continental Miami restaurant. Free and open to the public, HD Conversations: Art in Hospitality is sponsored by HG Arts, the Aloft South Beach, Drambuie, and Reyka Vodka.
