Through a collaboration between door and cabinet hardware and furniture maker Reveal Designs and design and architecture firm Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, which is based in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, comes a new and modern collection of hardware.
The two companies have brought natural elements together with modern finishes for the line that "celebrates sensual minimalism." The Bohlin Cywinski Jackson Hardware Collection also brings out the best in rich woods and metals to make doors and cabinets look like pieces of art. "Our idea of architecture is integrative and additive, making the most of people, places, nature and the act of building," says Peter Bohlin, who headed up the collaboration.
Since customization is important, many of the lever styles in the Bohlin Cywinski Jackson-designed collection have various options like walnut and beech woods, oil-rubbed bronze accents, and stainless steel and anodized aluminum. The collection will be expanding—to include thumbturns, cabinet pulls, and coordinating accessories as well as the unique Pinion Lever.
