Cheyenne Mountain Resort Starts $20 Million Renovation
Jul 26, 2010
Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs is embarking on a $20 million renovation, helmed by the Denver offices of Ricca + Newmark Design. The resort's 316 guestrooms will represent a fusion of warmth, texture, luxury, and rich color drawn from the natural Colorado landscape. The design calls for unique hand-finished furniture, new drapery panels accentuated with decorative trim and nature-inspired sheers that frame the balcony, scrolled iron lamps, and upgraded baths.
The Mountain View Restaurant Terrace has already received some upgrades, including a 15-foot firepit and new teak lounge furnishings, while changes are in the works for two terraces, the pool, lounge, kids' club facilities, meeting spaces, and the Pineview Restaurant.
