Restaurants of New York

Kingside Kingside, at the brand new Viceroy New York hotel, has a casual yet rich interior that is the handiwork of New York design firm Roman and Williams. Here, the bar flanks both sides of the restaurant, and walls are surrounded by mirror, slate, and caramel leather banquettes lined with glazed black and white brick. A curved light box of fluted glass and metal is the centerpiece, while  lights illuminate the floor, a graphic checkerboard of black and white tile with red grout. A classic American food counter with bright red leather stools is another highlight, framed by a seven-foot-long zinc hood and hanging meats.
