Calvin Fabrics used elegance as the backdrop for its new line of upholstery fabrics, drapery, and casements. Danita Harwood, the designer of the extensive line, looked at design globally to create new yarns, constructions, and dyes. These textures comprised from the United States, Italy, Belgium, India, and Switzerland offer a wide color palette (naturals to bold colors).
The collection boasts three new linens, two chenilles, and four other textural products.
Linens: Lucent Linen has a soft look in a basket weave texture; Bella is a viscose and linen blend and is made for multi-purpose usage; and Branam Linen (pictured) is made with Nano -tex to repel liquids and stains.
Chenille: Continuum is a woven blend of viscose, cotton, and linen and has a vertically pattern with horizontal detail; Junzi has horizontal accents using rayon and cotton to create an illusion of depth.
Textures: Cancun Texture offers bright colors inspired by the city's tropical location; Epicurean is a nubby textural cloth in six colors; St. Moritz Casement is an extra wide width wool and linen blend fitting for drapery; and Stratus, a linen gauze crossed with bands of twisted cotton.
