Townsend Lighting is bringing function and style to fluorescent lights with four new fixture styles:
Crystal Fluorescent Chandeliers (left)
Crystal chandeliers, which are typically incandescent, cannot be replicated in fluorescent fixtures; the twinkle of the filament and dimming properties are critical to ambiance. As a result, Townsend's engineers have developed fixtures that balance the elegance of the crystal chandelier and fluorescent specifications. The crystal chateau is an example of such a fixture that can be customized to meet lumens, dimming, glow, and wattage requirements with a standard 1-inch canopy.
Emergency Fluorescent Fixtures
Townsend designs and manufactures emergency lighting fixtures for corridors, allowing them to coordinate with the design of the entire lighting package and meet code requirements.
Fluorescent Ceiling Drums (left)
Townsend designs and manufactures ceiling fixtures that meet OVH specifications while maintaining an elegant style. For example, by substituting the outside acrylic drum to a gathered black silk pleat and restructuring the internal fixture, the lighting firm can help clients meet lumen and wattage requirements. Dimming can also be added to these fixtures.
ADA Sconces with Ballast
ADA requirements of a 4-inch extension and building requirements that dictate an internal ballast can make sconce selection challenging for interior designers. Townsend custom designs sconces that can fulfill these specs.
