Axo Light introduces its new Muse collection, with designs by Sandro Santantonio. The line features shades offered in a variety of vibrant colors (yellow, orange, red, pink, fuchsia, purple, light blue, green, blue, and multi-colored), which are designed to look like colorful puffs of delicate pastry hanging above which "transmit a contagious liveliness and joie de vivre."
These soft lamps have a metallic structure wrapped in elasticised fabric. Both a ceiling and wall version are available in four different diameters. A suspension light is offered as well with a diameter of 31.5 inches and a maximum height from the ceiling of 59 inches. Muse also comes in an energy-saving fluorescent version.
"Our project aims to completely express the desires of the heart and imagination and to capture the simple and yet spectacular effects of pure, harmonic natural elements like a flower or a cake, making them precious allies in creating pleasurable atmospheres for the senses," says Santantonio. "Muse is kind of large meringue. Its curves and 'movement' are inspired by the sweet world of pastries—cakes to touch, taste, and savor that we wish would never end."
