Banyan Tree Slated for Macau

Galaxy Entertainment Group is working with Banyan Tree Holdings to bring a luxury hotel to Galaxy's mega-resort in Cotai, Macau. The hotel's anticipated debut is 2009.

The Banyan Tree will include 238 large suites, 16 floating villas with private pools and cabanas, and a spa. Also part of the mega-resort, designed around the concept of a "Mystical Oasis," are a Galaxy-branded hotel with 1,500 rooms, a 410-key hotel from Okura, dozens of restaurants, an expansive casino, nightlife, and high-end retail.
