Rezidor is converting the historic Hotel Ukraina in Moscow into the 507-room Radisson Royal Hotel. The building forms part of the legendary "Seven Sisters," the Soviet skyscrapers constructed between 1949 and 1957 in the Soviet neo-classicism architectural style. Rezidor is carefully maintaining and restoring the structure's original architecture while making key upgrades to engineering systems.
Upon its completion in December, the hotel will feature four restaurants, a bar on the 31st floor, 38 serviced apartments, a conference center, a wellness center and spa, and boutique retailers. An art collection of 1,000 original paintings by artists of the socialist realism period will be prominently displayed throughout the refurbished property.
