Two more Four Points by Sheraton hotels have undergone multimillion-dollar makeovers as part of the brand's global revitalization campaign. The owners of Four Points by Sheraton York in Pennsylvania spent $15 million to update its look. Specifically, the hotel knocked down walls to achieve a more open flow and clean line of sight between the lobby, bar, and restaurant. The lobby and restaurant received a fresh paint job and were upgraded with new furnishings, stainless steel finishes, ceiling tiles, and artwork.
Meanwhile, a $9 million refurbishment at Four Points by Sheraton Bangor Airport in Maine led to the redesign and expansion of the popular Godfrey's Grille and Lounge. A new double-sided fireplace installed in the lobby also faces the restaurant. In addition, the hotel added a new indoor pool and fitness center, improved signage on the hotel's exterior, and enhanced energy efficiency by switching to natural gas.
