J/Brice Design International has been selected to oversee the interiors of a 52,000-square-foot palace for a Saudi sheikh on the Red Sea. "We are creating aesthetic impact by integrating modernist international architecture with Arabian motifs in gleaming, monochromatic white materials in various textures coupled with dramatic lighting," says Jeffrey Ornstein, CEO and founder of J/Brice Design.
The massive structure will include an atrium with grand staircase, waterfalls, glass elevator, areas for entertaining and socializing, theater, spa, fitness center, bowling alley, and a 3,000-square-foot master suite. The family's penthouse-level space includes window walls that retract fully to create uninterrupted access to the terraces, as well as reflecting and recreational pools that harmonize with Red Sea vistas.
June Ericson heads the J/Brice Design palace design team and is collaborating with MOK Mohammed Osama Al Kabbani Architects and Engineers for the project, construction on which starts in November.
