Chartres Lodging Group has ordered a $90 million renovation for the Sheraton Dallas, formerly Adam's Mark and the city's largest hotel at 1,840 rooms. The hote'’s owner has brought Leo A. Daly of Omaha, Nebraska, to oversee the redesign. The lobby will feature a new central seating area and a 32-seat "docking station" lounge for business travelers who want to sip a drink while working on their laptops. The Sheraton will feature a larger fitness center, while the hotel's 38th-floor restaurant is being transformed as a catering venue. Plans for the central tower's top floor call for an observation deck, a nightclub, or a spa.
