Borrego Ranch Resort & Spa, formerly La Casa del Zorro, will make its debut in the Southern California's Anza-Borrego desert in November. Hotelier Gregory Perlman hired Joseph DeNucci, former COO of Miraval, to plan and renovate the resort, originally built in 1937. DeNucci maintained the original building's Spanish Revival architectural details, such as its high wood beam ceilings and plaster-covered stone walls. When it reopens, Borrego Ranch Resort will feature 19 private luxury casitas, 44 poolside guestrooms, a spa, and several food and beverage concepts.
