Commercial real estate company the Siegel Group has acquired the down-on-its-luck St. Tropez Hotel in Las Vegas. The new owners plan to reopen the property—located across from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino—within the next month and reposition it as a high-end boutique resort.
The Siegel Group will simultaneously embark on a significant renovation project. The majority of suites already contain living rooms with large Jacuzzi tubs and private balconies and patios with views overlooking an expansive courtyard and resort-style pool and spa. As part of the overhaul, Siegel also hopes to include a restaurant, bar, outdoor event center and nightclub, concierge and limousine service, and an outside yoga studio.
