$50 Million Investment Helps Super 8 Expand in China

Wyndham Hotel Group has received a commitment of up to $50 million from an investment firm to expand its Super 8 hotels in China.

Aetos Capital LP will invest the money in Super 8 franchiser Tian Rui Hotel Corp. to accelerate its hotel development efforts. The company has opened 49 Super 8 hotels in China since the brand launched there in 2004. Tian Rui has signed agreements to develop an additional 67 properties.
