Architecture firm Cubellis has helped Chicago's Hotel Felix earn the city's first LEED Silver rating. The former Hotel Wacker, which features the interior design work of Gettys, incorporates numerous green details, such as in-room motion sensors, recycled building materials and products, low-emitting paints and carpets, and a green cleaning program. Cubellis also integrated an employee lounge equipped with locker room and shower facilities for those who bike to work.
Amenities at Hotel Felix include a lobby bar, an Asha wellness spa, three conference rooms, and the Elate restaurant, opening this summer.
